What is Caliber Baseball Inc.'s tax status?
Caliber Baseball Inc. is an IRS recognized Section 501(c) (3) charitable organization. All donations are deemed tax-deductible absent any limitations on deductibility applicable to a particular taxpayer. No goods or services may be provided in exchange for your contribution for the donation to be deemed tax-deductible.
How many teams does Caliber Baseball have?
Caliber Baseball only has one team per age division.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO PLAY FOR CALIBER BASEBALL?
Other than the cost to play there are no additional costs. Coaches are not paid and therefore monthly team dues are priced for the costs incurred from tournaments, field rentals, etc.
HOW DOES CALIBER BASEBALL AFFORD ITS EXPENSES?
Through generous donors and players paying for each tournament/game.
WHY ARE THERE DONORS IF PLAYERS HAVE TO PAY?
Simple. We are a brand new organization and eventually we hope for our players to be able to play for free.
Does Caliber offer high school scholarships?
Caliber Baseball Inc. believes in the opportunity for all athletes to attend the high school of their choosing, regardless of socio-economic status. That is why Caliber offers a scholarship for HS students. In order to be considered for a scholarship, please email CJALVAREZ@CALIBERBALL.COM expressing interest. You must complete the scholarship application, which includes financial documentation and a personal statement. Your application will be reviewed by a review board. Applicants are considered based on grades, finances, moral fiber, extra-curricular status, and other measures.
